Mike received his Tech license in early November 2014 as KM4FMK, and later applied and received his vanity call sign as K4ISR (May 2015). He received his General license in March 2015. As he studied, he found so many homebrew projects and new information just floating around out there. The problem was some was severely outdated, some based on false information, some based on info that worked for that one person in their location but not others elsewhere, and some just plain wrong. Due to such a wide range of information out there, Mike also realizes that some is subject to personal opinion or at the users location.
Although we strive to maintain accuracy in everything we post on this site, some may be subjective. As any ham can attest, you can have 3 identical setups side by side and each will act with slight differences.
